THIS IS THE HISTORIC TEAMS PHOTOGRAPH GALLERY
The photos and images below are from pictures from the walls of the Clubhouse prior to re-decorating pre-season of 2022-2023. It was decided to make them more accessible via this website and to not fix them to the freshly plastered and painted walls. We hope you enjoy looking through them. If you do have any old images of Clacton RUFC teams that you wish to share, or, if you can identify anyone from these images, please email your comments or photos to Email

The building has changed and grown with the years as in 1976 there weren't any Youth players and no women players. The Youth (now called age-grade by RFU) started in 2005-2006 with an Under 14's side, this part of the Club grew quickly. Not until 2023 did we have a Women's squad who have gone on to play in a league since 2023-2024.
The floodlights were installed on our training pitch in 1976. A spend of £20,000 which in 1976 was a colossal sum of money, equivalent to £134,000 in 2025 and nearly twice the value of the average house that year.
